A t deaths door when rescued, Mickey was suffering from canine distemper and had a host of other general health issues. Terribly emaciated, unable to stand and walk and very dejected, this poor boy took a while to recover, but with great love and even greater food, he soon began to gain weight and enjoy his daily walks.
In January 2021, Mickey's condition had deteriorated suddenly and rapidly. With his prognosis extremely poor, we took the difficult decision to euthanise him. Mickey will be mourned along with every other soul we've had the pleasure of caring for.
